Yes it is enabled, although any changes you make to the htaccess file must be done by you and we are not able to debug anything that causes you problems. If you disable your site with it all we will do is empty the htaccess file completely. |
| Are personalised DNS provided with multi-domain hosting? |
Not as standard because this would require extra IP addresses.
There are two ways to achieve the desired feature.
1. You can register your own nameservers through the domain registrar and register them with the IP addresses of our standard primary and secondary nameserver IP addresses and the nameservers you create should resolve fine.
2. You can purchase two dedicated IP addresses from us at a cost of $9.95 per IP address so $19.90 total yearly in addition to your yearly hosting fee. To do this simply contact sales. |
| How many IP addresses come with multi-domain hosting? |
None come as standard since we utilise shared IP addresses in order to save on IP addresses and make management more simple.
You are able to buy additional IP addresses for $9.95 per year per IP Address subject to availability. Simply contact sales for this option. |

| What version of ImageMagick is used? |
We can install this on a domain by domain basis and the version depends on what is the current released rpm version from redhat. |
| How much do account upgrades/downgrades cost? |
Upgrades are managed by the process of stacking, for example to upgrade a $9.95 plan you could purchase another plan of your choice and have the two plans merged into one extra large account with the combined allocations of both current and new plans.
We do not do downgrades currently since all of our fees are yearly. |
| How much does additional bandwidth cost? |
If you go over your allocated usage you will be billed $1.00 per gigabyte of over-usage. You can do this or add another plan onto your current one so you do not keep exceeding your allocations each month. |
| Is SSL enabled? |
Not as standard. We offer a $19.95 Yearly SSL Certificate and IP package which provides your domain with a dedicated IP address and working SSL certificate. |

XML support is currently active. |
| Is Flash enabled? |
We do not do anything on our servers such as installing any flash extensions, you are able to use flash on your website since it is processed on the client-side and not on the server-side. |

We do not provide any unlimited features since our aim is to limit the features and give a low yearly fee. If you want something to be unlimited which is NOT space or bandwidth (we will never offer this) then contact sales for a quote. |

You should be able to use the directadmin backup/restore feature to do this without hassle. |
| Where are your servers located? |
Our servers are located in the Savvis facility in Fort Worth, Texas. See our Company Info page for more datacenter details! |
| How often do you do backups? |
WE will NEVER guarantee our backups. We do them every few days at the very least but because they could become corrupted or suffer other unforeseen issues we will never guarantee them. We expect all of our customers to have up to date backups offsite of their site and database data. |
| Where is your data center? In which country? |
Our servers are located at the Savvis facilities in Fort Worth, Texas, USA which is a premium quality facility allowing us great pricing and plenty of room for expansion as we require it. This facility has so far provided us with close to 100% uptime and Savvis is a network which powers many government and wall street facilities as well. The Savvis data center houses Fortune 10,100,1000 companies in its data center along with many government and other large corporations. It houses enough servers and enough data passes through its backbone which is located in the same facility that it is considered a national entity and will be protected by the national guard in times of crisis. The Savvis data center is also a huge facility with over 250,000 SQFT of DC floor space available. |
| How many IP address do you have? What are your IP addresses? |
We own a limited number of IP allocations and we keep these as private as possible. Each customer is given the relevant IP information on sign-up of the account. |
| If I want to host multiple domains, could you assign different IP address to each free? |
Unfortunately this is not possible, we allocate a shared IP address to all domains on a server. In order to have a dedicated IP on each domain we would need a valid reason according to ARIN guidelines and this would also incur a $9.95 Yearly fee per IP required. |
| If I host A domain, I want to change it to B domain without any other fee. Could I? |
Yes, you are able to do this yourself via your DirectAdmin control panel. |
| What are your available web stat tools? |
At present webalizer is the only officially supported log tool, however we are currently evaluating other offerings so this may change in the future. |
